Our Director

A Ngarrindjeri, Kaurna, Yankunytjatjara man, a culture bearer, an artist, musician and tertiary level educator. Twenty years’ experience working in Aboriginal health coupled with a passion for cultural strength create a rich foundation that informs Allan’s facilitation of Cultural safety training.

Well versed in narrative methodology, Allan is adept at enabling participants to involve themselves in the training and gain insights into workplace practice. With a wealth of teaching experience in community and at Flinders University, Allan has remarkable skills working with a diversity of participants in a range of workplace sites in the public sector and government departments.

Facilitating workshops at many international conferences in the USA, China and New Zealand as well as all over Australia, Allan draws from a strong global and national Indigenous network with which to strengthen and support his work within ACA Studios.
